Waves (2020)

Recorded by their five-piece rock band, The Dirty Nines, Waves is the reflection of a lost relationship many years removed. Initially looking back fondly at the youthful, euphoric love of that time, the song slowly churns, then explodes, into a expression of grief, sadness, and pain at the loss of this love.

feel. (2016)

James’ first step into studio recording, Feel. is a collection of four songs meant to display his wide range in songwriting. From bombastic horns and smooth vocal lines to eerie, edge of your seat, acoustic story-telling. feel. has a little bit of something for every musical taste. This is also the first time James and Dan worked together in the studio as Dan played violin for Esmerelda.

Alive (2018)

The second release by their five-piece rock band, The Dirty Nines, Alive is a double single that showcases exceptional storytelling. Playing with Fire, tells the tale of a man who was visited by a ghost from his past. The narrator recalls the night in detail and explains how in spite of the terror and sense of danger, he somehow felt alive for the first time in a long time. Windows to the World is a psychedelic trip into the artwork on your living room walls. Lush with three part harmonies and a hypnotic lead bouzouki line, the track pulls you in for a joyous ride.
